Finviz Scan for 15/01/10 - 3 Bull, 0 Bear

Hi All,

Notes: So many days without bear scans. I'm taking the SMA200 > SMA50 criteria out for TAZ Bear scan now. I also changed the volume to be just > 5000000.

From now on, price between EMA30 and SMA50 will be describe as TAZ50 and price between EMA30 and SMA10 will be describe as TAZ30.

The new moon on 16th Jan 10. 

Feel free to comment or give suggestions to improve trading the setup.

Bulls Scan Results
CNQ - 15/1/10: Doji in TAZ30. XLE 3rd hottest sector. CNQ RS boke out of resistance.
IOC - 15/1/10: Bullish Harami in TAZ30. XLE 3rd hottest sector. IOC RS boke out of resistance.
SU - 15/1/10: Hammer 2 sessions ago in TAZ30. XLE 3rd hottest sector. IOC RS boke out of resistance.

Bears Scan Results
MON - 15/1/10: I got this from the bull scan but the price just hit a supply level and dropping off. I'm not trading this counter but will just monitor to see how the supply zone will work out.

Still NA....I think if someone has a rule to identify price near resistance level please let me know. I'm currently switching to Metastock to scan optionable stocks in US.

1. SINA - 10/12/09: Entry at $44.27. Target $47.95. Stop loss $42.57. 9/1/10: Doji on EMA30. Now $45.43. Relative strength weakening.
   
2. UUP - 12/1/10: Broke out of downtrend channel resistance. 1st pullback to TAZ but now below EMA30 with double hammer. Will continue to monitor just to see where USD goes. Now $22.64. RS weakening.
   
3. IP - 9/1/10: - Hammer. XLB 2nd hottest sector in past 10 days. Entered at $27.04. Stop loss $26.18 Target $28.49. 13/1/10: Inverted hammer. Now $26.23. Stop out at $26.18..
4. EMN - 13/1/10: Hammer T30. XLB 4th hottest sector but relative strength down. Entered at $60.39. Stop loss $59.38 Target $62.01. Now $60.70.
   
5. NFX - 13/1/10: hammer. XLE 3rd Hottest sector. Entered at $49.22 Stop loss $47.89 Target $51.39. Now $53.17. Target hit at $51.39 on 14/1/10.
6. RCL - 13/1/10: Doji. IYC industry down but RCL relative strength breakout. Entered $25.67 Stop loss $25.44 Target $26.68. Now $27.42 . Target hit at $26.68 on 14/1/10.
7. HGSI - 14/1/10: T30 hammer. XLV relative strength break out. Did not trigger but signal still valid. Entrered at $30.01. Stop loss $28.92 Target $31.95. Now $30.15.
   
8. WLT - 14/1/10: Doji. XLI 2nd Hottest sector. Entered $76.49. Stop out at $74.04. Target at $82.85. Now $75.59.
   

Bears

1. CHL - 6/1/10: doji at SMA50 resistance. Relative strength still down. IXP sector is also losing strength. Entry at $47.16. Stop loss $47.34. Target $45.13. 7/1/10: Did not trigger but CHL is in a nice downtrend. Will continue to monitor to see if price will go down from here. So far when price is near the downtrend resistance, it goes down fast. 12/1/10: Broke out of channel with huge volume. If price shoot pass SMA200, time to look for 1st pullback to TAZ. Now 50.54 - STILL FLYING AFTER THE BREAKOUT!!!
